It's finally June.  In a few weeks, we will have a 2 month vacation! We have had a busy week this week.

In ELA we have been working on writing about, "What would I do if I could stay up all night?" We practiced adding lots of details to our sentences.  Students have continues to practice doing our "Find it & Fix it" strategy for editing.

In Math we have reviewing measuring, specifically mass and calendar.  Students have engaged in centres and problem solving tasks about calendar and mass.

For our inquiry project we have been finishing our comic strip about the animal and its community. Students included how we can learn from the animals and care for the land. We shared how we can help the animals so that they can be around for a long time.

We also watch a series of videos about the Seven Sacred Laws. A Indigenous series about how we are all connected and need to respect the land and others. There are a total of 8 videos. I will include the link to the first one here and then it will make the other videos easy to find.

In Art this week, we made a spirit dancer.  Here is the link if you would like to make another one at home.

Here are some pictures of the results!
