  Reminders: LIbrary Books:  If your child has library books at home from last year, please send them in as we would love to have them back on our bookshelves and in our classrooms. September 28th: Terry Fox Run during gym September 30th:  Orange Shirt Day - wear an orange shirt or something orange to honour those who were in residential schools and to affirm that every child matters October 1st  is our first Spirit Day.  The students have chosen Pajama Day.  Students may wear a clean pair of pjs, but we ask that stuffies and toys stay at home. Here are some notable activities from the week: During Language Arts, we are reviewing the graphemes (letters with their sounds).  This is a good review for all students as they it helps them be more aware of letter sounds when they are reading and writing.  This week we reviewed the letters; o, s, qu and b.  Along with reviewing the letter names and sounds, we are also learning/reviewing how to print ...

  HOW TO LOG INTO YOUR CHILD'S GOOGLE ACCOUNT You will need: 1. Your child's gmail address that you received back in March 2. Your child's 8 character (or longer) student password   Step 1:   G o to  https://accounts.google.com/    Step 2:  Enter in your child's entire gmail address   Step 3:  Enter your child's 8 character (or longer) student password. If you have not completed this step you will not be able to log in. Still need to reset your password to one that is 8 characters or longer?  CLICK HERE Step 4:  Click on  the dots on the top right of the screen.   Reminders Please dress for the weather (hats, mitts, snow pants etc...)  We go outside  everyday  for recess, lunch recess, and gym. Home Reading Books are due Thursday (no school on Friday) Library book exchange every Wednesday Oct. 29th:  Costume day.  Students may wear a costume for the entire day (no props or costume masks) Oct. 30th:  PD Day ~ No School Please subscribe to my blog so that you can receive notifications when it is updated. Books need to be returned on Friday so that the can be quarantined before other children use them.   Here are some highlights of the week.
